Amber is the founder of AK Designs, LLC and has been actively practicing interior design since 2016. After working for and gaining invaluable knowledge from some of the top design firms in the Denver area, she started her own firm in 2021. She has an Associates of Applied Science in Interior Design, is Kitchen & Bath certified, and is an allied member of the professional design association ASID (American Society of Interior Designers).

One of the things she loves the most about design, is blending different ideas together to create memorable spaces. Design is ever changing and as new products, ideas and implementations come into the mix, it is always fun and challenging to be able to use and incorporate new ideas, while still keeping rooted in the principles and elements of design that are what make a well designed space successful. She enjoys that each project is unique and thrives on working to figure out what will make the space special for each individual client.

As a Colorado native, you can find her exploring the many amazing trails and lakes the state has to offer alongside her husband and friends. When she is not out and about in nature, her other passions are cooking, baking and entertaining and has been known to put together some showstopping spreads for special occasions.
